FC-1 Academy would like to congratulate the GBS Freshman A team on winning the Central Suburban South Conference with an unblemished record of 5-0 in conference play.

GBS defeated talented conference rivals Evanston 2-1, Niles North 2-1, New Trier 2-0, Maine South 5-1 and Niles West 4-0 en route to capturing the crown.

After getting off to a 2-2-1 start through September 1st, the GBS Freshman A team went undefeated the rest of September, posting a 7-0-2 record and outscoring their opponents by a combined 22-7.
