The GSC 2007 and FC-1 2006 Girls Elite teams coached by Tony Youhanna went to the finals in the Crystal Lake Force Classic Tournament. The team has attracted top players from the Northshore and it showed in the 2007 girls decisive victories being undefeated throughout the tournament and scoring 13 goals while giving up none in regular play. They won the final game 5 - 1. 2006 girls also were undefeated in pool play with 7 goals scored and 1 against. In the finals they were up 3-2 with 3 minutes remaining. The girls were ultimately defeated in overtime.
